Phoenix Viewer Installation:
(these assume you have already created your free account on SkyLine Grid)
1. Download Phoenix from this link and install the program according to your operating system.
2. Run Phoenix. You will see the welcome screen from Linden's SecondLife™.
3. Locate the button labelled Grids, at the bottom of the interface, near the login/password fields and click it. A new window will open at the center of the screen.
4. Locate the button Add and click it.
5. insert http://50.1.50.167:8002 as the Login URI, and Click Get grid info. All the other fields will populate automatically, then click Apply to save your settings and close the window.
6. To login for the first time, type the first and last name you created during your new account sign-up, enter your password, select SkyLine Grid from the grid menu, and click Log in.
Due to the implementation of .DAE Collada mesh content on the grid, please ensure your viewer supports this feature.

2. Add the following line to the desktop shortcut pointing to SecondLife.exe:

Emergence Viewer Installation:

3. Locate the button labelled Grid Manager, at the bottom of the interface, near the login/password fields and click it. A new window will open at the center of the screen.
4. Locate the button Add new grid and click it, then insert SkyLine Grid as the name of the grid, http://50.1.50.167:8002 as the grid's URI, and Click Get grid info. All the other fields will populate automatically.
5. Save your settings and close the window.
6. To login for the first time, type the first and last name you created during your new account sign-up, enter your password, select SkyLine Grid from the grid menu, and click Log in.

OpenSim is a social platform designed for users to interact, communicate and express their creativity while inside a virtual reality simulation.
The social experience within SkyLine Grid and many other OpenSim worlds, enables users to have in-world personalized public profiles, and connect through instant-messaging, open chat or even voice chat, where available.
Users can be added to each others contact lists, create groups where users can be notified of events specific to their interests, and share in-world content by ensuring ownership and copyright of everything that is created in-world. Users can also manage and regulate their own experience by using block features that prevent specific users to interact with them.
Aside from Social Networking, OpenSim provides for a rich virtual experience where users can create detailed objects using the free tools provided, upload image files, such as photos or textures, as well as uploading high-quality 3D models. Every item that is created or uploaded on the grid can be shared freely with other users, or made available for sale, in exchange for in-world token-based currency.
